Gabriel Urist Jewelry
Artist Gabriel Urist works with precious metals to fashion jewelry, often sports-related, and has become jewelry designer to the sporting world. His work is displayed in several U.S. galleries, as well as in Tokyo, Barcelona and Paris. In 2005, Gabriel was nominated by the Council of Fashion Designers of America as Accessories Man of the Year. He has created props for Matthew Barney and ancillary sculptures for Tom Otterness, as well as collections for Futura 2000, ALife, Supreme, Staple Design, the NBA, New Era, adidas, New Balance, and Wu-Tang. Gabriel has also been commissioned to make custom pieces for Spike Lee, Bun B, Kanye West, Dwayne Wade, Ben Kingsley and Paul Rodriguez, as well as jewelry for fashion designers Zac Posen, Miguel Adrover, Narcisso Rodriguez and Gary Graham.
