DimePiece Is a women's contemporary street wear brand based out of Los Angeles, CA.. It consists of Ashley Jones (23) and Laura Fama (22). After receiving their degrees (Ashley In Fashion Merchandising, Cal State University, Los Angeles and Laura Product Development, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) they began to focus on creating an Identity that young women and themselves alike, can be Inspired by. Their official start began in Summer 2007 on independent funds, where they released a seven-piece line with the intent that females reconsider their role in the game. "We really felt like it was important to portray a positive message and substantial meaning behind the gear itself. It was crucial for us that we created an identity that speaks through its taste and visual communication. We want DimePiece to voice the traits, vibe and personality of the wearer and reinforce the idea that this is a brand advocating a positive representation of todays young woman." -Ashley Jones.
